There are only six tables in the Goethe-Stübli – the room that once served as Goethe's bed chamber. According to the playwright Grillparzer, Goethe “occasionally produced a bad piece of writing but never had a bad meal.” Intimate yet festive and lit by a small chandelier, the chamber offers simple and elegant cuisine in an atmosphere of refined hospitality. Guests can enjoy a changing seasonal menu as well as one with special emphasis on fresh vegetables, comprising anything from three to seven courses.
